Letter: Remembers when politicians were regular folks

Ann Pearson writes:
Sadly all these politicians seem to be multi-millionaires and out of touch with regular citizens. Most of them have become millionaires while in office which begs one to ask how did they get so rich in office.

I remember the days when bankers, farmers, store owners were in office and could relate to the needs of the common man but no more. Now politicians seem to vote the way lobbyists tell them to not the people they are supposed to represent. Offices seem all bought and paid for anymore. I miss the good ole days~ --Ann
