Shandra Sharmel Gray, 52, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home.

The funeral service for Shandra Sharmel Gray will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jeff Eaton officiating, and special music by Dean & Sheila McKinley Bernard. Burial will follow in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Saturday until the time of the funeral service.


Shandra Sharmel (Kimbler) Gray was born September 22, 1966 in Livingston, TN, the daughter of David and Pat Kimbler.

Sharmel was a nurse and a member of Russell Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:
  • Her parents, David & Pat Kimbler, of Russell Springs
  • A sister, Sherri (David) Towery, of Newnan, GA
  • A brother, Patrick (Leia) Kimbler, of Bowling Green, Ky
  • Paternal grandmother, Bonnie Sunshine Kimbler, of Russell Springs
  • An uncle, Gary & Debbie Kimbler, of Columbia
  • An uncle, Cameron & Barbara Hudson, of Russell Springs
  • An aunt, Wendy & Randy Marcum, of Jamestown
