Taylor Fire Department called out to Knifley Road By Larry Smith, General Manager, The Big Dawg, FM 99.9 radio The Taylor County Fire Department responded to a 911 call at 2:28pmET on Thursday, January 17, 2019 reporting a house fire at 5996 Knifley Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a 2-story wood frame house with heavy fire through the roof in the rear portion of the residence. Firefighters had the fire under control within 15-20 minutes and remained on the scene for 3 hours. The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical in nature. No one was at the residence at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The Adair County Fire Department, Knifley Fire Department and Campbellsville Taylor County EMS assisted at the scene. This story was posted on 2019-01-18 20:21:51
