Letter: Russell Creek holds special memories

Ann Curtis writes:
Hi Linda, I love this photo! Russell Creek is very special to me, since my parents were living next to it when I was born, in the house where Sue Sandusky lives now. My parents lived there with my grandfather, CH Sandusky, who had built the house.

Mother told me that before I was born, she would sometimes climb the bluff on the adjacent side of the creek and pick wildflowers. --Ann

Thank you, Ann. Your comments always make for positive pictures of Columbia and Adair County. I can picture your Mother in search of wildflowers by the creek and I share a dream with others of seeing that area turned into a riverside park someday. - LW
