Genealogical Society to meet Feb 4

By Mike Watson

According to custom, the Adair County Genealogical Society would have met Monday, January 7. However, there will be no January meeting. The next meeting of the Adair County Genealogical Society will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019.

At the February meeting, Darlene Franklin Campbell will be presenting on the Melungeons with hints of DNA. This is not a repeat of her previous presentations on the two subjects, but a new examination of these two important research areas.

The Adair County Genealogical Society meets on the first Monday night of each month [with exceptions that will be announced] at 6pmCT, at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. For more information contact the library at 270.384.2472, or check with any officer.
