KY Bd of Education will push for more power for administrators

Kentucky's Department of Education will ask state lawmakers for charter schools funding in 2019, but that isn't the only issue the department will push for in the upcoming General Assembly session.

Changes to school-based councils, more flexibility for school and district-level administrators and potential reforms to teacher tribunals that determine if educators keep their jobs are just a few of the priorities rounding out the Kentucky Board of Education's 2019 legislative agenda.
