LWC Women's Basketball to host Indiana-Southeast on Sat

The No. 17-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team hosts Indiana Southeast at 2pmCT on Saturday at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

Saturday's matchup is the 31st meeting between the two programs. Lindsey Wilson leads the series 25-5, including a perfect 14-0 mark at Biggers Sports Center. The Blue Raiders last defeated Indiana-Southeast 82-62 at home during the 2016-17 campaign.


The matchup is the Blue Raiders (8-3) first in 13 days as they last defeated Reinhardt (Ga.) 67-65 on Dec. 16 at Biggers Sports Center. Reagan Turner led the way scoring 21 points while J'Nayah Hall chipped in with 18 points.

Gerda Paulauskaite has challenged opponents defensively, averaging 2.6 blocks a contests - the sixth most in the NAIA - as she has the seventh most blocks on the season with 26. Heidi Huffman ranks 16th in the NAIA for total three-point field goals made with 30 and also ranks 14th in three-point field goals per game with an average of 2.6 a contest.

Indiana-Southeast (8-4, 3-0 River States Athletic Conference) visits Columbia after defeating Mid-South Conference foe Cumberlands (Ky.) 74-66 on December 15. Lauren Lambdin led the Grenadiers with 21 points.

Baylee Krueger leads the IUSE in points per game, rebounds per game, and blocks per game. Krueger averages 11.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per contest.
