Juanita Thompson, 91, Liberty, KY (1927-2018) Juanita was a homemaker and a member of Hilltop Church of Christ. She was a devoted Christian and loved gardening. Juanita Thompson of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 91 years of age. Funeral services are 2pmET on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Brother Casey Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from NoonET until 2pmET on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Born September 30, 1927, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Cleo Passmore Poff. Juanita was a homemaker and a member of Hilltop Church of Christ. She was a devoted Christian and loved gardening. Survivors include one son, David (Jill) Thompson of Liberty; one daughter, Brenda Mason of Liberty; one sister, Carol (Garland) Wilson of Liberty; and one granddaughter, Amanda Thompson. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Henry Thompson, who passed away on April 15, 2016; a son, Randy Phillip Thompson; four brothers; and four sisters. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Brother Casey Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
