LWC Women's Basketball Hosts Reinhardt on Sunday

The No. 17-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team hosts Reinhardt (GA) at 2pmCT on Sunday at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

The Blue Raiders (7-3) defeated Simmons (KY) 104-31 on Dec. 3 at Biggers Sports Center. Heidi Huffman led the Lindsey Wilson offense recording a program-record 11 threes for a career-high 33 points.


Huffman ranks seventh in the NAIA Division I for total three-point field goals made with 30 so far this season. Huffman also ranks 11th in three-point field goals per game with an average of three per game.

Reinhardt (7-4, 6-3 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference) visits Columbia after defeating Hiwassee (Tenn.) 67-66 in an exhibition game at home on Wednesday. Ashton Sutton led the Eagles with 17 points and five assists.

Jada Hubbard tallied 15 points and eight rebounds while Bethany Headrick scored 10 points to round out the Eagles that finished in double figures.

Sunday's matchup is the third meeting between the two programs. The series is tied 1-1 with the Blue Raiders defeating the Eagles 67-64 on the road last season on Dec. 12, 2017.
