Kesslers Road Trip: Where Adair County ends and Russell begins By Tiffany Kessler Crocus, KY - Where Adair County ends and Russell County begins. Though the sun stayed hidden and the panic of potential snow was palpable, on Saturday, December 9, 2018, we decided to journey out for a short road trip. The Crocus community has always held a sign that I think is so enduring - "Population 16 and growing". The "and growing" addition triggers the questions: "Who is moving to this community that borders the county?" or "Which family may be expecting the newest member of Crocus?" To get to Crocus, travel around 20 miles down Hwy 55 south from Columbia and turn right on Hwy 1313. While answers to those questions come pouring in from the population of Crocus and beyond, their journey through Crocus took the Kesslers - Eddie, Tiffany and Kasey - on to the historic little town of Creelsboro, KY. She says more on that part of the road trip is yet to come. Can't wait! - LW This story was posted on 2018-12-12 12:12:15
