Free smoke alarms/installations still available By Dan Thies, American Red Cross Volunteer, Home Fire Campaign American Red Cross Volunteers from Adair County have installed free smoke alarms in forty five homes in Adair County in 2018, as part of a community project to help reduce fatalities and injuries from home fires in Adair County. We still have an inventory of free smoke alarms available for installation in Adair County. Please sign up with the American Red Cross for free alarms and installation at no cost by calling (859) 951-7814.
