CES Wings Express program receives donation from TCB

Campbellsville Elementary School's afterschool Wings Express program recently received a donation from a community partner. Taylor County Bank donated $150 to help pay program expenses.

Wings Express is a program to help students with homework and other activities. Students receive help with reading, math, science, technology, social skills and more. They also participate in activities to learn about nutrition.



The program, which is for students in kindergarten through third grade, is free to those who apply and are accepted.

Wings Express students stay at school from 3-5pmET on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and on Fridays from 1-3pmET. There are no activities on Wednesdays.

About 90 students participate in the Wings Express program.

Doug Holmes is Wings Express director.
