Letter: agrees on danger of intersection

By Diane R Wallace

Mr. Waggener has expressed what has been on my own mind for awhile now. That intersection is one of my regular commutes and if I had a dollar for each time someone ran the red light I would be one rich lady!

The round-about at the square is dangerous as well. This is especially true of vehicles entering from Jamestown and Greensburg Streets. The definition of YIELD seems to be beyond understanding, especially to a certain black Nissan SUV.

Right now as I am writing this, I can hear vehicles passing by my house, which I know for a fact are traveling way above and beyond the posted 25MPH.

It is surprising there are not more reported vehicle related accidents around town. Speeding is definitely the order of the day. --Diane R Wallace
