KSP Post 15 Monthly Activity Report: November 2018

During the month of November 2018, there were 32 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.

During the month of November 2018, there were:
  • 775 citations written
  • 203 courtesy notices written
  • 759 vehicles inspected
  • 615 complaints answered
  • 67 motorists assisted
  • 51 criminal cases opened
  • 248 criminal arrests made


There was one fatal collision during the month of November in the Post 15 area. Steven K. Taylor, 31 years old of Cumberland Co., KY, was killed on 11/27/18 in Taylor Co., KY.

This brings our yearly fatality count to 27 compared with 22 through this same period in 2017. Statewide fatality count stands at 653 compared with 727 through this same period in 2017.
