The annual Columbia Adair County Chamber of Commerce "Christmas Gathering" will be held at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson country club Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 6-8pmCT.

Join us for a relaxing night of food and fellowship. Meet the 2018 Chamber Board of Directors/Officers.


Tickets for $5 per person are available at the Chamber Office. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Please respond Friday, December 7, 2018. Corporate Sponsor for the event is Lindsey Wilson College.

Preparing for the Chamber of Commerce gathering

Jeff Willis, left, Director of Lindsey Wilson College Food Services, and Josh Overstreet were making last minute touches to the table of goodies the College provides for the Chamber of Commerce Christmas gathering each December. This is a month when the Food Services crew has no rest stops until all the events - over 60 Christmas events over the course of 27 days - are completed. They go full steam through commencement Saturday, December 15, 2018 up to the school's break, December 21, through December 26, 2018 when men's and women's teams start playing and their Food Services work begins again.

He is the new manager at Community Trust Bank in Columbia, coming into that job with 22 years of banking experience. Anna, a sophomore at ACHS, is not thinking of studying banking, but maybe pharmacy in her future. Angie Cowan, right, was inducted as the newest Board Member by Ellen Zornes, Executive Director of the Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce. She is Assistant Project Manager at Morgan Smith Industries in Columbia. Before announcements concluded, it was announced that the Christmas in Columbia Parade will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 6pmCT. The Parade will line up at the Morgan Smith site and travel down Jamestown Street to the Public Square. Santa Claus will be riding in the Parade for those who are searching for him this week.
