One killed, a child hangs onto life, after Tuesday Hwy 55 crash By Larry Smith, General Manager, The Big Dawg, FM 99.9 radio Taylor County Coroner Daniel Cook released the name of the young man who was killed in the multi-vehicle accident Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Stephen Kyle Taylor, 31, of Burkesville, KY was a passenger in one of the vehicles and lost his life in the crash. A three-year-old child, also critically injured in that accident, is hanging onto life and the family is reaching out for prayers. The City of Campbellsville Police Department called in the Kentucky State Police to do a reconstruction of the accident. A police report will be available after that is completed. What is known at this point, unofficially, is that a chain reaction accident was caused when one vehicle failed to stop for a vehicle in front that was attempting to turn onto Lone Valley Road in the city limits of Campbellsville. A Chain reaction occurred. This story was posted on 2018-11-28 07:21:02
