Traffic Advisory: I65 near Exit 91 in Hardin Co Wednesday By Chris Jessie Short delays will be possible today for Northbound and Southbound I65 upon approach to the Exit 91 interchange near Elizabethtown, due to a series of rolling road blocks. Utility crews will be completing work on transmission lines over I65 beginning at 7:30amCT/8:30amET. This work is a continuance of emergency repairs made two weeks ago following an ice weather event and is being scheduled at this time in consideration of worker and motorist safety, lower traffic volume hours, available daylight and weather conditions. Entrance ramps to Southbound I65 from Western Kentucky Parkway, Bluegrass Parkway and the Exit 94 interchange will be temporarily blocked during each round of rolling road blocks. The entrance ramp to Northbound I65 from the Exit 86 interchange at Glendale will also be blocked during each round of rolling road blocks. We are expecting between 4-6 rounds with each round lasting for approximately 30 minutes, beginning simultaneously at Milepoint 81 for Northbound I65 and at Milepoint 101 for Southbound I65. After each round, traffic queues will be relieved before the next round begins. Our partners at Kentucky State Police and Scotty's Contracting Traffic Control will be managing these rolling road blocks. We will send an advisory when these operations are complete.
