LWC men's basketball heads to Campbellsville Classic Fri and Sat By Benjamin Riegger No. 25 Lindsey Wilson men's basketball travels to compete in the Campbellsville Classic against Philander Smith (AR) and Oakwood (AL) on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17 at Powell Athletic Center, 203 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY. Lindsey Wilson is set to tip off against Philander Smith on Friday, November 16 at 5pmCT and will face Oakwood at 6pmCT on Saturday, November 17. Blue Raiders (2-1) return to action after a postponement of their matchup with Indiana University-Southeast on Tuesday evening. Stotts leads the Blue Raiders averaging 16.7 points per game while shooting 37.5 percent from the field and 65 percent from the free throw line. Pierre Lys is chipping in with 11.3 points and six rebounds per game while adding nine steals on the season. Philander Smith (1-3) returns to action after a 59-57 victory over LSU- Shreveport on Monday. Na'Quan Conthron leads the Panthers with 15.3 points per game while shooting 43.2 percent from the field and 86.7 percent from the free-throw line. Jaylon Bardley is chipping in for Philander Smith with a 14 point per game average and 58.8 percent from the free-throw line. Friday's matchup marks the sixth meeting between the Panthers and the Blue Raiders, with Lindsey Wilson leading the overall series at 4-1. The last time the programs met was in 2014, Philander Smith defeated LWC 80-58. Oakwood (2-1) defeated Martin Methodist (Tenn.) 82-68 on Tuesday evening. The Ambassadors shot 48.3 percent from the field and 61.1 percent from the free-throw line. Oakwood is led by Michael Middleton, who posted 16 points, four assists and six rebounds in this matchup. Saturday's matchup marks the sixth meeting between Oakwood and LWC with the Blue Raiders leading the overall series at 5-0.
