LWC Men's Basketball Hosts Brescia Wednesday Night

No.25-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team hosts NAIA Division II member Brescia (KY) at 7pmCT on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

Wednesday's matchup marks the 47th meeting, with LWC leading the overall series 35-11. The Blue Raiders defeated the Bearcats in the last matchup 98-72 in November 2017.


The Blue Raiders (1-1) return to action after a 109-44 victory over Ohio State-Mansfield Sunday afternoon. Payton Cundiff produced a game-high 20 points after coming off the bench, hitting five-of-six shots from behind the three-point line. Pierre Lys produced his first triple-double as a Blue Raider with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

LWC is ranked in the top-10 in NAIA Division I for field goal percentage at 33.3%, free throw percentage at 80%, and defensive rebounds with 37.5.

Brescia (2-2) returns to action after a 99-61 loss in an exhibition matchup with Murray State (Ky.) on Monday evening. Dillion Geralds leads the Bearcats with 19.5 points and 10 rebounds per game average this season. Geralds is shooting 52.5% from the field and 46.4% from the free-throw line.
