David Ingram Allen, 56, Taylor County, KY (1962-2018) He was a well-respected man in the First District who worked many years as a polling clerk in his precinct. He enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts and old money, and took many a leisurely walk through the woods enjoying God's creation. David Ingram Allen of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home. There will be a funeral service to honor his life on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 12noonCT/1pmET at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Mt. Carmel Church Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 11am until time for the service. Born on September 13, 1962 to the late Thomas and Aileen (Hedgespeth) Allen, he was 56 years, 1 month, and 22 days of age. Mr. Allen professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Beams Grocery and Thrift Bargain Center, and had continued his mother's Avon route after her passing. He was a well-respected man in the 1st District, and worked many years as a polling clerk in his precinct. He enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts and old money, and took many a leisurely walk through the woods enjoying God's creation. He leaves to mourn his passing
