Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 30 OCT 2018
Indictments brought against 16 individuals from Lebanon, Elkhorn, and Campbellsville, KY, and Scottsboro, AL, on charges including
possession, rape, assault, trafficking, wanton endangerment, burglary, theft, and flight.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 30 October 2018:
- David Johnson, E. Broadway, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-000265. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 4th degree (domestic), 3+ within 5 years. Count 2 - Alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st and 2nd offense. Bond set at $250 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- Lawrence E. Carter, Bell Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00266. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- Devin McGlone, Walling St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00267. Charged with 5 counts. Counts 1-4 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 5 - Receiving stolen property, firearm. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with victims, no firearms, no alcohol or illegal drugs.
- Charles Waymon, Tebbs Bend Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-000268. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition, all others u/$500. Bond set at $5,000 cash. No contact with WalMart.
- Danny R. Berry, Happy Hills Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00269. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition, all others u/$500. Bond set at $1,000 cash, no contact with victim, no contact with premises.
- Dakota B. Redmon, S. Central Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00270. Charged with 3 counts. Counts 1-2 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree, victim under 12 years of age. Count 3 - Attempted rape, 1st, victim under 12 years of age. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with any children under 18.
- Tassie Seals, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00271. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $18,000 cash, no contact with victim, no weapons.
- James R. Viers, Gaddis Ridge Rd., Elkhorn, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00272. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Possession of marijuana. Bond set at $5,000/10%.

- Joey Tungate, Fisher Creek Rd, Lebanon, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00275. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition, all others, u/$500. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $15,000/10%. No contact with victim/WalMart.
- Brian B. Baldwin, N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00276. Charged with 16 counts. Counts 1-3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree, police officer. Count 10 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 11 - Reckless driving. Count 12 - Disregarding traffic control device. Count 13 - Speeding 26MPH over limit. Count 14 - Failure to illuminate head lamps. Count 15 - No registration plates. Count 16 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no driving, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.
- Jason L. Atwood, Greensburg Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00277-001. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, drug unspecified. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 4 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Count 5 - Failure to or improper signal. Count 6 - Failure to wear seat belts. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
