Wendy Jean Fudge Reeder, 65, formerly of Columbia, KY (1952-2018)

She was a member of Oxford Christian Church, enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, volunteering with her church and cooking for her church or the Gathering Place.

Wendy Jean Fudge Reeder, 65, wife of Charlie Reeder, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmET on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Johnson's Funeral Home, 641 S. Broadway, Georgetown, KY, conducted by Rev. Chris Cash.

Visitation will be from 5pmET until 8pmET on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, and from NoonET until the time of the service on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at the funeral home.


Born in Chicago, IL, on Wednesday, November 19th, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John and Betty Fudge of Adair County, KY.

A former florist, Wendy was an RN and worked with various hospitals including Eastern State Hospital and later retired as Director of Nursing with Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. She was a member of Oxford Christian Church, enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, volunteering with her church and cooking for her church or the Gathering Place.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Andrea Burton, Lexington and Josh (Jessica) Burton, Danville; sister, Peggy Fudge, Columbia, KY; brother, Jimmy (Mary) Fudge, Lexington; grandchildren, Conner and Kendall Burton; nephew, Tony Fudge; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oxford Christian Church, 2785 Oxford Village Lane, Georgetown, KY 40324, or to Columbia United Methodist Church, 202 Burkesville St, Columbia, KY 42728.
