The Wall that Heals to be in Paducah this weekend

The Wall That Heals is one of a number of traveling smaller-scale replicas of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, aimed to allow veterans who wouldn't be able to make the trip to the permanent site in Washington, DC, to experience a version of the Memorial. The Wall that Heals was started in 1996 by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, and tours the country for multi-day stops.

The Wall that Heals will be in Carson Park, 300 N 30th St, Paducah, KY, starting Friday, October 25, 2018, and will remain on display and opento visitors 24 hours per day through 3pmCT on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Paducah is about 3.5 hours from Columbia. This will be the only stop for the wall in Kentucky this year.

The mobile memorial will next move to John Hunt Park, 2151 Airport Rd, Huntsville, AL, where it will be on display from November 1, 2018 until November 4, 2018. Huntsville is about 4 hours away from Columbia, KY.
