2018 General Election reminders for voters Please remember: if you have requested a mail-out absentee ballot the application must be mailed and RECEIVED in our office by 4pmCT on October 30, 2018, for us to be able to mail you the ballot. From Lisa Greer, Adair County Clerk With the Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Election Day drawing near, here are a few reminders that will help make your voting experience smoother. Please remember if you are a resident of the City, you will have to turn your ballot over on the back for the City Races. In addition, if you choose to vote a straight party, you will still need to vote your non-partisan races. Voters please remember to bring proof of identification with you to vote, even though an election officer can confirm the identity of a voter by personal acquaintance, the election officer may not be able to identify you; therefore, please be prepared to show identification by the following ways pursuant to KRS 117.227
Remember absentee machines are opened for those qualifying to vote before election day:
