LWC Men's Cross Country finishes 1st at St. Louis Fall Classic

St. Louis, MO - The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team wins the St. Louis Fall Classic hosted by St. Louis Pharmacy.

The Blue Raiders earned 57 points to take the top spot out of the 13 teams that participated in the event.


Levi Owens led the Blue Raiders with a time of 26 minutes and 30.4 seconds. Owens finished in fifth place for the event.

Jim Headrick finished in eighth place with a time of 26:52.1. Jordan Tucker finished in tenth place with a time of 26:58.6, to round out the Blue Raiders in the top 10.

Jonathan Long crossed the line in 27:17.8 to finish in 13th with Trajon Hall finishing with a time of 27:40.0 to place 21st. Austin Mattingly placed 35th with a time of 28:21.2 and Mason Stogsdill finished 52nd with a time of 29:26.5

Tyler Alverson from Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) finished as the top individual runner with a time of 25:46.4

The Blue Raiders return to action on Nov. 3 at the Mid-South Conference Championship in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
