Quarles statement on passing of Sen. Walter Huddleston Frankfort, KY - Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Ryan Quarles released the following statement today regarding the passing of the former United States Senator for Kentucky, Walter "Dee" Huddleston: "I wish to offer my deepest condolences to the family of Senator Walter 'Dee' Huddleston. From the battle lines of World War II to the halls of the United States Senate, this son of Cumberland County humbly served his nation. During his tenure in the world's greatest deliberative body, he advocated fiercely for the interests of the Kentucky farmer. I hope his family and friends rejoice in remembering a life well-lived."
