Nell Eggers Gardner, 92, Taylor County, KY

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church. She was a retired sales clerk with Central Furniture Company. She united in marriage to Colby Gardner July 27, 1944 and he preceded her in death March 24, 1997.

Nell Gardner died Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Campbellsville at the age of 92.

A graveside service will be held at 12noonCT/1pmET Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville by Rev. John Chowning.



She was the daughter of the late George Reeves Eggers and Gertrude Riall Eggers, in Taylor County, Kentucky.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church.

She was a retired sales clerk with Central Furniture Company.

Nell united in marriage to Colby Gardner July 27, 1944 and he preceded her in death March 24, 1997.

She is survived by two nieces and one nephew - Patty Wagster of Dayton, Texas, Cheryl Thompson and William D. Eggers, Jr., of Canton, Ohio and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Keith Gardner December 27, 1955 and a brother, William Doyle Eggers March 18, 1991.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to Saloma Baptist Church and may be left at the funeral home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
