This beautiful Tiger Lily is part of the landscape garden at Doug and Monica Janes' home. We were looking for a lost gold cat that needs to find its owners but it chose to ignore the humans in favor of the protection of the deck. Tennis teams in 5th region tournament

Each of the ACHS Tennis teams went on to a tough 2nd round matchup. Kinzlee and Kylieann Akin defeated their first round opponents 6-2 6-0. Abby Bullock and Sarai Collins won their match 6-2 6-1.

Coleman family with new Eagle Scout

Scout Troop 185's most recent Eagle Scout, Ty Coleman, gave a Mentor Pin to his brother Gabe, the Eagle father's pin to his Dad Mark, and the Eagle mother's pin to his Mom Maggie. The Coleman family lives by the Scout example of "clean living, honest work, unselfish citizenship and reverence for God." From left are: Scoutmaster Mark, Maggie, Ty and Gabe.

Election workers train for Primary

This group attended election training held to make up for the original session which was rescheduled from last week's storms. Voting will be open from 8amCT to 4pmCT on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 16-18, in the Adair County Annex Basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia KY. When you come in front doors, go straight to the elevator or steps to the basement. Remember to bring proof of ID.

Ty Coleman earns Eagle Scout status

Ty Coleman has earned a total of 28 merit badges on his journey to becoming an Eagle Scout. Fourteen are Eagle rank required. He reaffirmed the pledge Monday evening in a special service at Columbia United Methodist Church.

Please help find this missing pet

This is the third pet we have lost out of our fenced yard, our mini chi-weenie, pictured here snoozing on the couch.

We are devastated our beloved pet is gone. We don't understand why someone would do this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
