Windows on Campbellsville Street side getting started

New windows have been installed on the Campbellsville Street side of the Adair County Courthouse. Restoration committee member Shannon Sexton said, "The windows are different as they are not complete yet. If you look close, a lot of things have differences.  Handcrafted throughout time by man, not machine.  A true piece of art, right in the middle of Columbia! Trust the process and feel free to call the committee with questions."

Garden in bloom, perfect time to visit

The Julia Miller Horton Rose Garden in front of the historic Trabue Russell House, Jamestown Street in Columbia, is in full bloom now. Guests are welcome to stroll through. For information about the property, contact the City of Columbia, 270-384-2501.

Dining at the historic Trabue Russell House

Business, Tourism and Economic Development representatives attended the May Chamber of Commerce lunch at the historic Trabue Russell House at the invitation of Mary Anne Loy. This picture shows one of four rooms filled with guests. The menu she prepared included - all homemade: Winterberry salad, Kale salad, Pimento cheese, Sourdough bread, Fruit, chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, sweet iced tea and lemonade.
