National Day of Prayer is May 2

Adair County churches will be participating in the National Day of Prayer at NoonCT on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The gathering will be on the steps of the Courthouse Annex Building on the Columbia Square.

The 2024 National Day of Prayer theme: "Lift up the word, light up the world", is based on the verses found in 2 Samuel 22:29-31:
"For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness ...This God--His way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.".
We will pray for America: the Family, Church, Business & Workplace, Education, Military, Government, Arts, Media & Entertainment. The whole community is invited to share in this time of prayer for our nation.
