Eric M. Antle, 56, Columbia, KY (1967-2024) Eric Matthew Antle of Columbia passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at his residence. He was 56 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Burial in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday after 9amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born in Kingsport, TN on October 23, 1967, to the late Marvin and Viola Templeton Antle. Mr. Antle was a retired Chief Deputy Jailer for the Adair County Regional Jail and previously worked as a Deputy with the Louisville Metro Jail for 3 years. Eric was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed playing golf and following University of Kentucky sports. Survivors include his wife Judy Derman Antle of Columbia, KY; four children Jessica Gossage (Darren) of Russell Springs, KY, Alexandria Stratton (Dylan) of Bardstown, KY, Matthew Antle (Kelsie Redmon) of Columbia, KY and Dezirae Sandusky (Tyler) of Columbia, KY; six grandchildren Gunnar, Easton, Sunni, Maggie, Gavin, and Collin; his mother-in-law Maye Rexroat of Columbia, KY; his brother-in-law Tony Derman (Vonda) and sisters-in-law Patricia Keith, Brenda Wheat (David), Sheila Derman, and Carol Murphy; special friends Bug and Lana Knight, Pam Grant, John and Missy Arnold, Lannie Harlow, and Steve Nixon; his lifelong buddy "Jagger" and several other friends and relatives. Pallbearers will be Bug Knight, Steve Corbin, Harold Wayne Lawless, Mickey Feese, Rodney Ford, and Steve Nixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Vernie Dale Warren, Bo Foster, Mike Withers, James Haywood, Doug Holmes, and Joey White. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
