Bill Russell, 83, Green County, KY (1940-2024)

William "Bill" Russell was born August 20, 1940 to Sherman Ellsworth Russell and Florence Piel Russell. He departed the life Wednesday, April 10, 2024, having attained the age of eighty-three years, seven months, and twenty-one days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. H was a Diesel mechanic, consultant, and trainer. He was united in marriage to Betty Jo Larimore Russell on February 19, 2000.


Besides his wife he is survived by one sister and brother-in-law: Susan and David Miller of Mitchell Indiana; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Bernice and Leland Humphrey, and a special cat: Little Cat, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church 2pmCT Sunday, April 14, 2024. Visitation: 3 - 7 Saturday and 7 - 11 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home and 11:30 - 2 at Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Minister: Rev. Brenson Bishop and Rev. Kevin Brantley

Burial: Greensburg Cemetery

Pallbearers: Allan Larimore, Tim Larimore, Jason Humphrey, Devin Graybeal, Phillip Nunn, Dakota Westmoreland

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Crossroads Program at Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
